WELCOME TO FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE!

What is FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL)?
A global program developed by FIRST® and the LEGO® Group for children aged 6 to 16 years.
The mission is to inspire children to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Programming, and Math) and solve real-world challenges using their favorite tool — LEGO® Education kits.

Core Values of FLL:

  • Robotics

  • Research

  • Teamwork & Leadership

FIRST is a global robotics community preparing young people for the future!

Structure of the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge

FLL consists of four equally important parts:

  1. Innovation Project – Teams identify and research a real-world problem related to the season’s theme and develop an innovative solution.

  2. Robot Design – Teams strategize, build, and program their robots based on the mission requirements.

  3. Robot Game – Robots made with LEGO® MINDSTORMS/SPIKE PRIME complete missions on a themed playing field.

  4. Core Values – Emphasis on how the team works together and applies teamwork and professionalism in all aspects of the challenge.
