Should children bring their own LEGO sets or laptops to classes?

We provide all the materials and equipment kids need during classes. However, for Python and Arduino classes, students are required to bring their own laptops. This allows them to save their code and continue learning at home without interruption, if they wish. Working on their own device also helps them feel more comfortable with their setup, making class time more efficient and productive. Familiarity with their own laptop often leads to a smoother and more enjoyable learning experience overall.

Do you offer trial classes for new students? How can we sign up?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a trial class is available based on the availability of spots. The cost for the trial class is 250 SEK.
To reserve a spot for your child, please email info@imaginationctr.com with the following information:

If you decide to continue after the trial class, you will be able to enroll in the full course by paying the fee for the remaining classes.

Question 3

Are parents permitted to stay during the lessons?

To ensure an optimal learning experience for all students, our policy is that parents are not allowed to stay during classes. This helps minimize distractions and allows the teacher to fully take on their role as a leader, which is essential for creating a secure and focused environment.

As an exception, parents may stay for the first 10 minutes of the first class to help ensure your child feels comfortable and safe.

Question 4

Can I get a refund if my child is unable to attend the course after enrollment?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel a course no later than 10 days before the start of the course with the right to a refund of the course fee.
Cancellations must be made in writing by contacting
info@imaginationctr.com. You will receive confirmation via email
of your cancellation. Non-payment does not count as a cancellation.
If you cancel a course that has already started, you are required to
pay the full course fee. Refunds in the event of illness/accident are not permitted.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds once the course has started. Since the amount of spots is limited, the spot will be reserved for your child, and it becomes challenging to fill it after the course begins in case of cancelation, what affect other kids.

What age groups are your classes designed for?

We offer Robotics WeDo classes for kids aged 5–6, 7–9 and SPIKE groups for kids 10+, Chess classes designed for children aged 6+. Additionally, we provide Emotions & Development classes for children aged 3–4 and 5–6.

Question 6

What is the class duration and frequency?

Accepted Answer

Classes are held once a week, and each course runs for two months.

Robotics Classes: For children aged 5–6, the class duration is 1 hour and 15 minutes. For children aged 7–9, the duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Robotics SPIKE: 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Chess Classes: Each class lasts 1 hour.
Emotions & Development Classes: Each class is 45 minutes long.

Question 7

How many children are typically in each class?

We keep class sizes small, with a maximum of 7 children per class. This allows our teacher to provide more personalized instruction and maintain a high level of engagement with each student.

I am interested in a specific course, but none of the proposed times work for me. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

All available days and time slots for our classes are listed on the Courses page of our official website. We encourage you to select one of the available slots, but if none are suitable, you can submit a request under "Suggested time is not suitable for you?" and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
